My company is export designer shoes to Malaysia. I am planning to manufacture a designer shoes factory in Malaysia. Our company receives our product from our own factory. We will corporate with famous designer shoes company in United States and ask them to give us a right to sale their products in Malaysia. There will be a contract to proof that we can manufacture the shoes in Malaysia, so we are also a dealer and distributor. Why investing in Malaysia? GDP per capita: 14,700 (2010) GDP real worth rate: 7.1% (2010) Unemployment rate: 3.5% (2010) Export : $156.40 billion (2009) Import : $119.50 billion (2009) Exchange rate: 1 US dollar = 2.9650 Malaysian ringgits (RM) Low Labor Cost Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarchy in Southeast Asia. Malaysia is a multicultural society, with Malays, Chinese and Indians living side by side. The Malays is the largest community. They are Muslims and they speak Bahasa Melayu. Malays is those who control the majority political power in Malaysia. The labor cost in Malaysia is lower than USA, so I do not worry about extra cost on labor. According to World Bank, Malaysia is an upper middle income country. Malaysia’s economic has been one of the Asia’s best after independent. Malaysia had become the member of association such as ASEAN Free Trade
