Dell 1. Dell’s business strategy combines it‘s direct customer service model with a highly manufacturing and supply chain management organization and an emphasis of standards- based technologies. B.) Dell rely on customer service that satisfy the needs and desires of its customers by providing a direct relationship that allow them to answer the request of its customers through custom built and custom tailored services. Dell is also able to save the customer money by bypassing the middle man and providing these savings to the customer. Dell also help to provide excellent customer services by providing a single point of accountability to its customers when faced with complex technological challenges and a high set of standards that focuses on the benefits of extensive research and development, as well as, flexibility and customer choice that is based on performance, cost and customer services. C.) Customer satisfaction is the key to Dell’s success and the fact that Dell is willing to keep the cost of the product down to provide and the customer support system Dell has in place to assist customers. 2. Factors affecting Dell’s business- -general economic, business, industry conditions may result in a decrease in net revenue -ability to maintain competitive edge -net revenue is dependent upon risks and uncertainty of international sales -profitability may not meet expectations if its product, customer, and geographic mix is substantially different than anticipated
