Unthank 2 1. A. FedEx’s strategy for the market place is to provide customers with seamless access to integrated business solutions, such as transportation, e-commerce and business services. B. The company FedEx relies primarily on operational excellence. This is evident because the company’s primary goal is to deliver products and services faster with more opportunities at a lower rate than similar competitors. As stated in the annual report, FedEx plan to increase their emphasis on competing collectively and managing collaboratively, the company believes that if they operate independently the company can focus on different markets with results in optimal service, quality, reliability and profitability from each of their four business units. 2.
