While reading through various posts on the discussion forum I see that it is perceived in not so many different ways. One way that was suggested was that the pool represents the seasons of life. Another way that the pool is represented is that of the journeys of life one must endure in order to become what is inevitable to be their destiny (Lawrence, 2010). Now, with that being said, I too will have to agree with the idea that the pool is indeed a direct representation of the seasons of life. And to get even deeper I believe that it is even a correlation, if you will, of the emotions felt throughout the duration of ones life. To be more specific towards the last statement is to bring to light the emotions felt by Neddy when he wasnt swimming. I believe a good term statement is to bring to light the emotions felt by Neddy when he wasnt swimming....
