Exercise: Characteristics of Effective Classrooms Leslie strategies that she used were very interesting and effective in my opinion. Leslie follows the first characteristic by planning on how she was going to introduce a subject to her classroom. She gave positive reinforcement when transitioning her students to do the exercise. She uses her own personal characteristics in her lesson by commending her students for doing well. She used teaching strategy by first giving her student positive input
