Checkpoint: Sexual Harassment Scenario 1.    Is this incident simply a schoolboy prank, or is this sexual harassment? When reading the scenario, all the facts stated that the “teasing” incident was just an immature act that a group of sixth grade boys were doing to a bunch of more developed and mature girls. This behavior is quite inappropriate for the boys to being acting out on. However, it doesn’t constitute as sexual harassment because that wasn’t their intentions to harass the girls in a sexually way. 2.   Should the boys involved be punished? If so, what should the punishment be? All four boys should be punished to an extent. However before making a rash decision, the educator must first make sure the event has actually happened. Many times innocent people get falsely accused for an action that had taken place. Once the incident has been proven to occur, the punishment should be a week of detention and a
