Keeping these students challenged enough to desire to learn is in itself a challenge but can be overcome by channeling these particularly talented students in gifted programs. This is done by intervening in the students education early on and assuring that they are placed properly. Furthermore, in order for teacher to intervene in the students education they first need to be identified as being gifted. Identifying gifted students is not simple. There are signs that a student may be gifted. Some gifted students can be disruptive in class because they are bored with the lesson content due to the childs mastery of the material. They can also exhibit signs of boredom, poor grades, or even failure for very much the same...
