Writing Assignment 1. Write at least 10 things that you did last weekend. You are allowed to lie. 2. Provide details (where, with whom, etc.) 3. Before starting to write, make a list of the things that you want to mention. Then you can figure out the right order to present them and also the right level of detail: you don’t want to give many explanations about one thing and leave all the others without comments, strike some balance. 4. To make transitions between sentences smooth you can (should) use some of the following words: a) DESPUÉS, LUEGO, MÁS TARDE, ENTONCES they all mean “later, then, after this”. If you want to specify ‘after X’ (X= having lunch, going to hospital, an action) -> ‘después de + infinitivo’ -> después de comer, después de ir al hospital…

For example, if you look up the word fly as a verb it translates as volar; as a noun, it translates as mosca (the animal); record as a verb is grabar, as a noun is disco or registro. 6. When writing you have the time to edit so once you finish: a) Check the verbs. Most of them should probably go in the past and in the yo form (you are talking about yourself) but maybe some of them shouldnt . Example: fui a Hagerstown.
