Running Head: FROM THE LARGE SCALE UNIVERSE TO THE MILKY WAY 2 From the Large Scale Universe to the Milky Way Modern cosmology relates to the study of cosmos. It relates to societies belief of the universe. All through history cultures base their views and ceremonials through their cosmologies. Cosmos portray characteristics of beauty that are still not, fully agreed upon. Ancient cultures have a limited perspective on the scale and substance of the universe being restricted by technology of their time. Prior to Galileo’s invention of the telescope, people were forced to explain celestial phenomena using only their everyday observances (Wheeler, n.d.). Cosmology has become large in the last ten years, with an enormous amount of new ideas about the evolution, origin, and structure of the universe. Architecture has been researched for the knowledge of what makes up the universe, and the objects that are in it. The Big Bang Theory The theory Big Bang is an attempt to tell us what happened at the very start of our universe.
