Radford 2 I think that culture has a huge influence on personality. I mean our culture really is what shapes us into who we are and how we respond to things. There are people that tend to express their personalities in some pretty wild ways, but to him or her that is how they are comfortable. I feel that a person’s reaction is a result of social experience. If it were not for the way that we were raised we may see things differently. I know that for myself when I see a different culture and they are eating things that are strange to me or even dressing differently, I look at them with a different reaction.

Unformatted text preview: This is because it is out of what my social experience was. I tend to agree the most with the behavioral dispositions. I agree with this one the most because I feel that people do have tendencies to be consistent in their actions and feelings towards things. I really agree with three out of the four. I do not however particularly agree with the linguistic categories. I do not think that traits are a convenient fiction thought up by people to make sense of human behavior and experience. The other three all seem to fit together in some level, but linguistic categories does not, I feel that it is way out there in left field....
