Radford 2 The Sperm and the Egg What functions do the sperm and the egg have? Do they really have any responsibilities at all? Amazingly the sperm and the egg have a huge responsibility for successful reproduction. The sperm are produced in the human male’s sex organ, while the eggs are manufactured in the female’s sex organs. When a male and female engage in sexual activity, the sperm is inserted with the female’s internal body and possible fertilization may occur. There is no other way for humans to reproduce than to involve both the sperm and the egg. The journey of the sperm and the egg is a very interesting thing to follow. Today we are going to follow the journey of Sam and Emily. They are going to have a very exciting day today, because they are going to join together to form a new life today. For the two of them this the day that they have been waiting for! For Sam and Emily, fertilization happens the moment that they finally come together. When they come together they start a life that is combined from the two of them. The wait seems like it is forever, Emily has been patiently waiting for this day for five years.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
