1) People, especially kids, don’t have to look far for “heroes”, because people have a tendency to throw that word around more nowadays than it probably should be. Two people I believe that many people idolized, especially in the sporting/entertainment world, could be Michael Vick and Alex Rodriguez. Both were probably “heroes” as sports stars to many children around the world and especially in the United States. Vick was convicted of animal cruelty after it was found that he was contributing and running a dog fighting ring and was slaughtering many dogs afterwards. Rodriguez was always thought to be a “clean” player in baseball, until he admitted that he too used performance enhancing drugs, specifically steroids, to help his on-field performance. Vick’s actions were both morally and ethically wrong, and he paid with time in jail. Rodriguez’s actions were probably more morally wrong than ethically wrong, but
