Chad Skipper Dan Walsh Josh Wyrick Marianne Govic Joint Ventures In choosing the right candidates for Resteze’s joint venture, it is important to view each potential firm separately, and to make the decision that most accurately achieves our overall goal. The three possible candidates for the venture are Bedrest, a French firm, Home Furnishings, Inc., a German firm, and finally Pacific Enterprises, Inc., a Japanese firm. All of our options contain both positive and negative aspects, and each could be potentially successful venture. The first candidate, Bedrest, has good size in the low cost market as well as potential for growth in Eastern Europe. Although it has possibilities to grow and become stronger, it has a poor reputation in Europe due to the fact that its products are cheap. This poor reputation has also lead to financial problems caused by low sales. The second candidate is the German firm Home Furnishings, Inc. This firm is known for their high quality furniture as well bedroom furniture. Another pro for Home
