Introduction Schlumberger is an international organization of French origin that provides oilfield services to the consumers in different parts of the world. The organization has employed more than 100,000 individuals in greater than 120 countries. Schlumberger has around four principle executive offices that are located in Houston, London, The Hague and Paris (Products.slb.com, 2020). Schlumberger has been incorporated in Wilemstad Curacao as Schlumberger N.V. and also trades on New York Stock Exchange, Euronext, SIX Swiss Exchange and London Stock Exchange. Schlumberger has also been able to gain its position in the Fortune 500 list and has been provided with the 287 th rank in the year 2016. Schlumberger has also been able to gain a position among the Global 2000 companies in which the company has gained 176 th rank (Products.slb.com, 2020). The report will be based on the diversity management aspects of the organization named Schlumberger that operates in the oilfields based sector. The different types of diversity based aspects that have been taken into consideration for analysis in the report include observable vs. non-observable diversity and high vs. low workplace relatedness. The levels of observation that have been implemented in the organization and short term and long term consequences will also be discussed in the report in detail. The arguments that are related to diversity management and the approaches implemented have also been taken into consideration for the analysis. Impact of diversity on organizational performance and processes According to Anita and Swamy (2018), the diversity levels in an organization has a major impact on its performance levels and the culture that is developed as well.
