Abstract Multiple studies indicate that women get fewer wages than their male colleagues. It has been over 50 decades since after the U.S. Bill was passed on the Equality act in regard to pay, that requires fair pay for fair jobs for females and males, as well as the Fair housing act, which forbids sex discrimination of race, color, ethnicity, sex and nationality in employment. Thus, this gap has not been reduced for many past years therefore many more studies are needed on this particular issue. This paper would also discuss the issues in the gender pay with the references of authentic literature. Female employees earn less male staff across all 50 states, including Washington DC. The pay gap disparity varies from either the average woman earning 65%
