Be sure your name is on each page. HINT: A careful reading of the appropriate material in the text will make this assignment much easier. Review of lecture 18 will also assist in answering the first two questions. (2 points each) 1. What are the components of a drainage network? What separates one drainage network from another? What is the total area of a single drainage network called? Drainage networks are composed of rills, which collect water into creeks, which flow into small rivers, which eventually flow into the trunk river, which is the largest. Drainage networks are separated by divides, ridges of higher land. The area drained is called a watershed
