CGS 2585 Web Site Requirements Checklist Spring 2011 Requirement Completed YES NO Storyboard for the overall web site showing how content pages are linked Overall site contains a minimum of 6 total pages (including splash and main pages) One page contains a statement about why you created this website Navigation area(s) on content pages. All internal navigation links work properly. Working external links to at least one external web site on at least one content page. Any internal link to a page not currently constructed links to an underconstruction link and is not a dead/non-working link Content pages include images. “alt” attribute values for each image used. (won’t pass Strict validation without this attribute.) Each XHTML document has an accompanying external CSS document. (Note internal styles can also be used in addition to the external style sheets.) Each XHTML document passes W3C Strict validation.

Each page has valid XHTML and CSS icons in the footer area Splash page contains a minimum of two images Splash page ( splash.html ) correctly links to primary content page ( main.html ) All files and images uploaded to Eustis (or some server) and site is working properly when viewed by a visitor. Upload 1 XHTML document to WebCourses (only 1 document is needed). This is only so there is something there for allowing a grade to be submitted for you. At least one page has an embedded video. At least one page has embedded audio. At least one page is JavaScript enabled in some manner. One page contains a form. The “ action ” attribute of the form is to send you an email with the data from the form. The form fields all work correctly and the data is extracted correctly from the form.
