Case study - week 3 Alireza Ghoorchian 1. If praising employees for doing a good job seems to be a fairly easy and obvious motivational tool, why do you think companies and managers don’t often do it? Being a good manager is different than successful manager; many managers do not get enough job satisfaction themselves in their workplace and that effects %100 on employee working under his supervision. I was working with three different companies in past 5 years only one of them had Employee recognition program, which really worked. That successful program came from a very compassionate person who cared for his employees and give them best job satisfaction in his power. I believe praising employees is not only a decision but it’s a must have for a successful company. First step for this program is to add praising employee to manager’s job description and make sure they’ll follow it as instructed.
