According to research and news reports within the past 2 years there are many changes that the United States has made to policies concerning the treatment of Muslim and Arabic members of society. One of the policy changes that have occurred is that the Justice Department policy change would let the FBI investigate Americans without any evidence of wrongdoing, relying solely on a terrorist profile. A red flag if you will that would single out Muslims and Arabs. Under this new guideline, the FBI would be permitted to consider race and ethnicity when opening an investigation. In other words, the FBI was now allowed to “racially profile.” Agents would also be permitted to ask open-ended questions about the activities of American Muslims and Arab Americans. The FBI could also initiate an investigation if a person’s employment or background is labeled as “suspect” by government analysts by looking at public records and other public information. Unformatted text preview: they are prejudice, inferior and backwards, they do things different they we do and people do not like them being different from everyone else and thirdly, race, because they are a different color and race people do not want that race around even though they have the right to be here. People can teach their children from young age to befriend other children no matter their color, race or culture. Humans are humans no matter what. Us as adults can start to befriend different cultures, talk to them and see what their views are on what can be done to stop the prejudice against them. I will bet if you talk to them you will find out they are prejudice toward us because we are different to them. The best way to promote tolerance and reduce prejudice is to create awareness and educate. Some experience shows that one person, acting from conscience and love, is able to neutralize bigotry. Imagine, then, what an entire community, working together, might do. (SPLC, 2010)...
