Unformatted text preview: MEMORANDUM DATE: July 14, 2010 TO: Amanda Pearson, President of Unit #322 American Legion Auxiliary FROM: Selita Jenkins, ALA member SUBJECT: Recommendation for selling sandwiches at Historical Festival INTRODUCTORY SUMMARY We just had our monthly meeting on July 11, 2010 and we discussed our plans for raising money to help pay for our bills and debts. We have had many discussions about what we could do to raise money for the past few months now, but we have yet to decide on anything. I have come up with the idea to sell chicken, fish and pork chop sandwiches at the Historical Morganton Festival on September 10 th- 11 th 2010. I have researched and figured out how much the booth will cost, along with the materials we need to set up the booth, also the food that we will need to purchase and the condiments that we will need to sell at this event. BOOTH To set up a booth at the festival we have to pay $185.00 plus $10 for electricity. For the electricity we will have to bring our own extension cords which they recommend us using a 100’...
