Functions of Management 2 Mangers exist in each and every business. In fact, managers do the same types of task in all businesses. Whether a person manages a hair salon or a factory, the manager’s job consists of similar tasks. When it comes to businesses, no matter if they are small or big, they need to run smooth and be able to achieve their goals and objectives in which they have set for their selves for the year. The four functions of management are just to have a controlled plan over the preventive measure. Managers exist in every business. In fact, managers do the same types of tasks in all businesses. Whether a person manages a hair salon or a factory, the manager’s job consists of similar tasks. (buzz.com) The four functions of management are plan, organize, leading, and control. Plan is the main base of management. It is where the areas in which all the areas of management should be build on. It starts with management to assess; there is where the company is currently set, and where it plans to be going. From that point an appropriate course of action is determined and taken into action to obtain the company’s goals and objectives. There may be strategies which the company has to face from time to time.
