As we discussed in class, the idea of problem 2.2 can be extended to 3 events: It is vital that a certain document reaches its destination on time. To maximize the chances of on-time delivery, three copies of the document are sent using three different services. Define events A 1 , A 2 , and A 3 as follows: A 1 = on-time delivery by service I A 2 = on-time delivery by service II A 3 = on time delivery by service III Write expressions involving unions, intersections, and complements that describe the follow- ing: (i) The document reaches its destination on time (i.e., on-time delivery by at-least one of the three services). (ii) The document does not reach its destination on time. (iii) The document reaches its destination on time only by service I and by service II (but not by service III) (iv) The document reaches its destination on time by exactly one of the services....
