Unformatted text preview: No one can predict a natural disaster or world crisis. When a hurricane or flood or a pandemic strikes a country, which is most likely to respond first? Which economic system is the best solution to handling a crisis of epic proportion? It is known fact that natural disasters or world crisis cannot be predicted, but when a disaster does hit we have the resources to help. It is my knowledge that when a disaster strikes a country the first to respond would be the local government. If the disaster is too severe for the local government then the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (FEMA) is one of the first to respond. When it comes to the US, we have always been known to have great resources to help our own land and other countries around the world. We are lucky enough to lend a hand to those less fortunate than us. Besides rescue team we also have nonprofit organizations like the Red Cross that are always willing to help when needed.
