Recruiting and Hiring: Developing an Effective Recruitment Message Learning objectives: Evaluate the effectiveness of organizational recruiting messages Develop suggestions for how to improve an organization’s recruiting strategy The organizational context Start from the organization that you are working on for your final project. Go to the company’s website and see what sort of messages the company is using to market itself. Then pick two of the company’s top competitors and see what they are doing to market themselves to job applicants. When examining these organizational websites, take notes on the following information: 1) How did you get to the company’s website? What links did you need to follow? Was it easy to find careers based information? 2) What types of information are provided to job seekers? Provide as much detail as possible. Some of the key pieces of information that should be considered are the jobs which are open, where jobs are available, what employees
