Rahul Saha 7/7/11 Visual Aid Speech Self Evaluation Verbal Delivery: I would say that my rate, pitch, volume were all adequate. I feel that all of the audience members could hear me, understand my pitch, and follow my words at an easy pace without having to think very hard. My eye contact was not as good as I hoped. I looked at all parts of the audience when I made eye contact, however I feel that I looked at my notes too much. I think I can improve on verbal delivery by being more familiar with my speech so I wouldn’t have to check my notes as often and would not stumble over a few tricky parts. I also forgot which state St. Louis was in which was quite embarrassing and looked rather bad on the video. I would do this by reading through my speech several times before I actually present it. I might even consider making a manuscript speech and reading it several times so I know exactly what I want to say. I made more eye contact during my first speech because iknew the topic better and didn’t have to look at my notes as often. Nonverbal Delivery:
