EE100: Final Project, Written Report, and Poster Presentation Information Purpose: The course project is intended to give you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and practice communicating technical information both in a written and oral format. You will be expected to complete a course project, submit a written report, and present your project at a poster session. The poster session will be scheduled for the course final exam date and time. Project Options: All projects must be approved by the course instructor 1. Electronic/Optical Project Kit (individual effort) a. Choose and build an electronic/optical project kit, the kit must require soldering. If you do a web search you will find several vendors that offer kits. b. The kit should be rated at the moderate to difficult level. 2. Electronic/Optical Project (3 team members Max.) a. Design your own circuit/optical system or order a kit and make modifications to it. b. Your design/modifications should be useful and have a well defined purpose. 3. Computer Program/Programmable Device Project (2 team members Max.) a. Write a computer program or program a programmable device, such as a microprocessor or microcontroller. b. Your program/programmable device should be useful and have a well defined purpose.
