Tutorials: Tues. and Thurs. 5-6 pm. Tutorial is an important component of the course: important ideas and examples will be discussed there. As much as the lectures focus on setting the language and elaborate on the theory, the tutorials will focus on computational aspects of the course; as such, many examples will be presented in the tutorials which can clarify the theoretical aspects of the course. 4. MARKING SCHEME: ten Problem sets % 15 (at 1.5% each) two term tests: % 30 June 21 and July 19, (15 % each) Daily pop quizzes: % 10 unknown number Final examination: % 45 % August examination period Note: Pop quizzes will be almost 10 min. long and will be administered during the lecture time, and they cover the material covered in the previous lecture and/or in the same day or a previous day tutorials.
