World 2 Inside Cindy’s World On October 1 st , 1974 I was born in Fresno, California. I lived there for a short time, before making Texas my new home. Growing up my family pretty much consisted of my father who worked a lot, my mom who seem to work a lot as well, my grandma who cared for me as a child and four sisters who lived far away and rarely called. I was the youngest of all and since I was the only one at home, it pretty much meant that I was an only child. Sure there were some perks to it, but not all was fun and games. I slowly grew at ease upon the realization that we were no longer migrating and this would now be our home. With my parents working most of the time I learned to become a latch-key kid at a very young age. This often

World 3 meant long walks home and often evading strangers on the way home. Two years went by quickly at this elementary school and I soon moved onto Junior High. Being in Junior High was a whole different ballgame now.
