Ethics Paper In any situation where someone is receiving many gifts and kind gestures the consequence can be devastating unless he/she gives in return. The actions by the Mayor are both good and bad because he is taking and taking and not giving back. I would guess for those businesses that have not done business but might, actually might not if they receive nothing back. The Mayor is obviously benefiting from these actions and if he doesn’t return the favor and give to the people of the city, I would guess they would turn on him and his election days would be over. I am guessing that if it were Locke in the Mayor’s shoe’s he would do the right thing and give back to the people what they deserve. A kind gesture can go a long ways as long as you give and take. I would be in the same boat with Locke on this because it’s not only the right thing to do but it’s also the fairest thing to do. It’s not that the professor is doing wrong but she is being lazy. I would think that students
