Unformatted text preview: Downward Communication: As an employee your manager or group leader will assign goals, provide instructions, give information about policies and procedure and basically evaluate you as an employee. However, this type of communication does not have to be face-to-face since management can send out corporate letters or emails to all staff members. Upward Communication: Flowing to higher levels in the corporation, upward communication provides feedback to "higher-ups" of what's going on in the business.
