I quickly learned that in order to thrive for the welfare of the team and myself, I had to do my part. I had to keep my weight balanced and correct in order to compete for my team. Now as Co-Captain of my wrestling team, I work extra hard to maintain my weight balance and discipline, as well as motivating and inspiring my teammates to do the same. As a volunteer for the Tallwood High School Wrestling Club, I enjoy educating and coaching elementary and middle school students in beginning wrestling. Above all, though, wrestling has given me yet another passion for life. Physical fitness is a necessity in living a healthy life, and this is a truth that I never seemed to grasp prior to entering high school. I wish to continue wrestling at the collegiate level or intramural wrestling clubs for many years to come....
