Approaches to Stakeholder Impact Analysis I believe that the best stakeholder impact analysis approach to scenario one would be the moral standards approach. One of the moral standards is utilitarian which is to maximize the net benefit as a whole. Does the action of the proposed decision maximize social benefits and minimize social injuries? If the mayor chooses to build the nursing home in another place and lets the mall and resort come in, then yes it would maximize social benefits. Individual rights are another moral standard which includes respect and protect. Is the action consistent with each person’s rights? If the mayor chooses to build the nursing home somewhere else so that the seniors will have a place to live, then it will be consistent with each persons rights. The last moral standard is justice which is the fair distribution of benefits and burdens. Will the action lead to a just distribution of benefits and burdens? If the mayors actions are for the town to build another nursing as well as let the mall and resort come to town then the action will lead to just distribution and everyone will benefit from his decisions and the burdens of the town and economic down fall will be better....
