This will however depend on your active participation and attention during the class sessions and an active follow up afterwards. Course Description: This course has been designed keeping in view the following objectives: To impart a functional understanding of the English language, especially as applied in a business environment To develop and improve oral and written English language skills of the students To explain the styles and formats of business writing, particularly memoranda and letters Course Objective: After completing this course a student will be able to: Display a functional understanding of the English Language for everyday use as well as in business environments Create effective business messages as in letters and memoranda Have an understanding of contemporary styles and formats used in business letters Make resumes conforming to professional standards and write job application letters Please arrive and leave on time. Class will begin promptly five minutes after the hour and will end exactly on the hour. Late arrivals
