To enable the students to identify various aspects of the marketing mix as being applied by different market players in every day life. To prepare the students for higher/advanced courses in marketing by imparting a comprehensive theoretical background. Course Objective: After completing this course a student will be able to: Understand and discuss the fundamental concepts of Marketing Have a sound idea of the factors involved in marketing planning Identify the roles carried out be different market players Posses a theoretical awareness of basic marketing theories and models for decision making
