Life Lived without a Purpose If a life is being lived for no purpose and is just being lived then what is the point of having morals? There is none. Having purpose with provide morals. We live when we feel there is a purpose for us and for what we do. This purpose gives us a moral compass by which we will use to judge our actions and beliefs. Now that is not saying that all morals are “good” morals, like tell the truth, be kind, have charity. We may have morals that are looked upon as “bad” morals, such as lie, cheat, and steal, whatever it takes to get it. In either case by having a purpose this will give you morals by which you will strive to reach that purpose and you will use this Compass to judge yourself as to how you are doing and how should I continue. You set and agree on your own morals to live by having purpose So if one has no purpose, I struggle to see how they could have any morals. It could be
