It can give employees the feeling that they are getting a good paycheck but they also get great benefits such as child care, retirement pay, and paid vacations. When employees have the feeling that they are working towards something it gives them the little extra that is needed so they can fulfill their own wishes. When an employee works for a company for a year and they have no written or verbal warnings they earn a week of paid vacation. If that same employee works there for 6 years then they already have 6 weeks of paid vacation time if they had not taken it before. That is a very nice benefit that many companies do not offer anymore because it is not seen as completely necessary or too many employees were unable to make it to work every day due to health, family, car troubles among many other things.
