What was the course material that suggests that this particular communication behavior was an appropriate target for change? Be specific, apply material from the text, lecture, TCOs, etc. Personally I really liked the exercise that we did the choosing my communication behavior. We went through and gave points that we thought we needed to work on. The three areas of this exercise were I can’t, I won’t, and I don’t know how to. The whole time I was doing this exercise I thought that my family is the most important thing to me and why choose a topic outside of them because they are the people I deal with on a daily basis. Deliverables for Part 8 2 DELIVERABLES FOR PART 8 WEEK 8 CCC chapter was Communication Perspectives and on page 11 was that we develop, maintain, improve, or end our relationships with others by using interpersonal communication. I just thought that this was the right topic for me because I felt like my family was falling apart. 8B. Consider the implementation of your new behaviors in Part 7. Which of your behaviors particularly please you? What was the course material that suggests that this new communication behavior is a positive change? Be specific, apply material from the text, lecture, TCOs, etc. The behaviors that I have picked up on and will continue to use are my new listening skills. I am able to listen to my spouse and hear what he has to say before I make a judgment. Prior to now I would hear part of what he was saying and I would disagree with him and think he did something wrong because he wasn’t thinking. Now when I listen to him I understand why he chose to do something one way and not the way I would have done it.
