HCR 220 Features of Health Plans In the research gathered about the subject at hand, I found that there are four basic types of plans. Firstly there’s the Indemnity Plan, which is known as the pay for the service rendered plan. The PPO Plan, which is the Preferred Provider Organizations, the POS Plans, which are Point of Service Plans, and the HMO which, is the Health maintenance Organizations. Each plan exist to serve the customers on the guidelines they set to provide health care for their paying patients. In each of these plans the bottom line is the proper health care to their clients. With this understanding, no plan seems to be a better choice over another plan. What makes the plans similar is the insurance connection involved in payment. This doesn’t however apply to the Indemnity Plan. The plans are different were is is set to the guidelines of how and how the patients can see for treatment. Some of the plans require preauthorization to have certain procedures done. In the Indemnity Plan has
