In the mid-fifteenth century, the Transatlantic Slave Trade had come into existence. Over the next 300 years, between 15 and 20 million Africans were transported to America by way of slave trade. The slave trade was the only migration path of Africans to America. It was also the worst migration, ever recorded in American history. Africans were brought to America to be slaves and provide free labor to the Europeans. After they were set free from slavery, African- Americans faced the next 200 years facing prejudice, segregation, and racism. All of this they faced because Whites were mad that they could no longer have free laborers and thought that they were smarter, stronger, and better than African Americans; Whites believed that they were superior to them. African Americans have faced all kinds of different forms of prejudice, segregation, and racism during their whole stay in America. This dates back to the slavery days of oppression, because of this prejudice they was denied their liberty and the chance to pursue their own happiness in America. First African slaves were not recognized as humans but as property of the slave owners (C. Morgan, para.4). This made the African Americans have no freedom, and they were not allowed to have a say-so of any kind. Once Africans were shipped over to America they were stripped of their family, wife and kids, there was no ‘land of opportunities’ for blacks. If the Whites believed that they
