Think Win/Win is not about being nice, nor is it a quick-fix technique. It is a character based on code for human interaction and collaboration. This is where a person begins that transition from independence to interdependence. Most of us learn to base our self-worth on comparisons and competition. We think about succeeding in terms of someone else failing. That is, if I win, you lose; or if you win, I lose. Life becomes a zero-sum game. Let imagine there is only so much pie to go around, and if you get a big piece, there is less for me; it is not fair, and I'm going to make sure you don't get anymore. We all play the game, but how much fun is it really? At this time, people begin to work out compromises so both parties are favored in some way. Sometimes the decision may be to disagree and that is the best for both parties. Within the fraternity, we also have to make tough decisions where people have different outcomes they would like to see. When we run into differing opinions, we try our hardest to make both parties happy because the fraternity belongs to everyone and everyone needs to have a say in what they do. Compromise is extremely important for an organization and must be practiced for the individuals to become interdependent. Win-win is a frame of mind and heart that constantly seeks mutual benefit in all human interactions. Win-win means agreements or solutions are mutually beneficial and satisfying. As you know, the company want customer and customer want rewards. During the time viewing and working in the WanHai Lines, I know that the WanHai Lines does not have referral reward program for customers like companies in the America. By offering new customers, the current customers will get paid for that. That not only brings the extra money for the current customer, but also brings new customer for the company instead of
