1/20/11 7:04 PM ECS 30 Homework #2 Page 1 of 2 file:///Users/devanbu/teaching/30/hw3/hw3.html ECS 30 Homework #3 Winter 2011 Due: Thursday Thursday, Jan 27 . All: 11:59pm using handin to cs30a, hw3 directory. Filenames: see below Programming : All programs should be able to compile with no warnings when compiled with the –Wall option. You should put your name(s) in a comment on the first line of each file. The prompts and output format of each program must match the following examples exactly. The actual values calculated by the programs may vary slightly from the examples. To use functions from math.h, you must have –lm on your compile line (that is an “l” as in library) to link with the math library, e.g., gcc –Wall –lm car.c. DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE PRECISE ANSWERS IN THESE EXAMPLES... WE WILL SHORTLY MAKE ORACLES AVAILABLE. Fewer problems this time because of midterms next week. #1. (p. 152) Filename: car.c. All inputs are float, all calculations in double float world. Note output with 2 decimals. Use the math function pow […@pc…]$ car.out
