Gallivan (5-0306, 318 Love Building, [email protected]) • Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, MWF and meetings by appointment • Eligibility: – MAP 2302: C- in Calculus 2, but B in Calculus 2 or Calculus 3 recommended. – MAP 3305: C- in Calculus 3 or B- in Calculus 2 • Text: Elementary Differential Equations, W. E. Boyce and R. C. DiPrima, Ninth Edition, Wiley, 2009. • Grading: – MAP 2302 Grades: The semester grade for MAP 2302 will be determined by two exams during the semester and a comprehensive final exam. The following weights will be used Exam 1 30% , Exam 2 30% and Final 40 %. – MAP 3305 Grades: Students in MAP 3305 have an additional lab component to their grade. Their semester grade will combine an ODE grade determined using the same exam weights as MAP 2302 and a lab grade combined using (80% × ODE grade) + (20% × lab grade). • The final exam will be held at the officially appointed time....
