Why is Energy Conservation Important? Not only does conserving energy cut down on the amount of monthly income spent on bills but it also lowers the amount of damage done to the environment. When we use electricity, gas stoves, run factories or drive our cars, we unleash unhealthy toxins into the air. For example: Carbon Oxcides, Nitrogen Oxcides, Sulfur Dioxide, Particle Matter or Hydrocarbons

Renewable Resources Renewable Resources – Are resources that are continuous and can be reused over and over again. Example: Wind power through wind turbines, Solar power collected directly from Solar rays, and The stubble left behind when farmers collect their crops.

Try to make trips to town as minimal as possible by taking care of all your errands in one trip. Government Involvement The Government is involved with providing the funding for renewable resource plants. They can be more involved by passing laws mandating farmers provide the stubble from their crops to renewable resource plants. Conclusion Conserving energy is important not only to the economy but to the environment as well. There are renewable and non-renewable resources out there and ways to conserve energy. Like Michael Jackson said in his song Heal the World, Heal the world Make it a better place. We only have this one planet we call home, so why do we want to destroy it?...
