The War on Capitalism
Capitalism is “an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of
production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals
or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.”

On February 9, 2009, in Lexington, North Carolina, there is a
family staying in a home, which is about to be invaded by police officers.
The young lady and
daughter of the homeowner is shooting a home video of the entire encounter, also, there are recordings
from the outside
of the home where the police officers are attempting to break in.
As the officers
roughhouse the door, the fear can be heard in the young lady's voice and seen in the video, by the
young lady's shaking hands grasping the camera.

demonstrate an example of how America uses capitalism to take and steal what belongs to its citizens,
and what they have worked hard for. This is effective because the viewer is experiencing the incident
with the family through the young lady's home video, allowing them to feel the anger of someone
