UNIT 2 CASE STUDY GB519 2 Abstract After deciding to build a new community center, the Lake Placid Town Council needs to decide what size the venue should be. They are considering several different factors in their decision and used a regional planning consultant to provide estimates of the income in the best, base, and worst case. The town council may also take into consideration the political and goodwill ramifications when they are making their decision. They are also considering investing $150,000 on a promotional campaign. This case analysis will explore the expected value approach to determining the town council’s best course of action.
