To Drill or Not to Drill? I have to agree with President Obama’s plan to push forward with creating green jobs and reducing America’s dependency on foreign oil. By trying to create new technologies for our energy needs and creating more jobs in doing so our country is going to be better off in the long run. I say that because most of our manufacturing jobs are being shipped over-seas to countries with lower business taxes and less restrictions on how much an employee can be paid an hour. With more jobs state side and more people working those jobs Americans will be a little happier because they are able to provide for themselves and their families which reduces social problems such as crime. Also with more Americans working that means more people are paying taxes which means more money for the government to use towards programs to help society and make America a better place to live. Not to mention the effect going green
