Sumagic is a plant growth regulator that helps maintain plant height for the benefit of aesthetic beauty on flower beds and landscapes. According to the product description, Sumagic effects reduce internode elongation through inhibition of gibberellins. Thus, creating a more uniform and sturdier appeal of plant and foliage depending on the concentration of appeal. A. PROPER CONCENTRATION USE According to the product label, Sumagic concentration range depend on geographical area and type of plant. For example because of the State of Florida’s unique tropical climate and higher temperatures, using Sumagic on the popular known plant, the Poinsettia is different than other states. In Florida, the concentration of Sumagic used on Poinsettas are 2.5 to 3.8 fl oz a gallon as opposed to 0.6 to 2.6 flz oz a gallon in other states. B. APPLICATION METHODS Sumagic can be used in a variety of ways including foliar applications, drench applications and bulb soaking.
