2 HOW CHILDREN OF DIVORCED PARENTS ARE AFFECTED, NOT MATTER THEIR  AGE Divorce is a fact of life that we need to deal with in an adult manor for the best interest of our children. It does not matter what age your children are when you divorce because it will affect their lives just in different ways depending upon their ages. My parents divorced when I was 27 years old; therefore I did not have two separate households to live in, but the divorce still impacted my life. I still felt as if my family had fallen apart even though I did not live at home with my parents. I intend to find out which ways different age groups are effected by divorces, and if one age group would adjust to the emotional part of the divorce better than other age groups.

3 HOW CHILDREN OF DIVORCED PARENTS ARE AFFECTED, NOT MATTER THEIR  AGE How children of divorced parents are affected, no matter their age. Although divorce is nothing new, there has been a big increase in the numbers of men and women ending their marriages. Most couples have started a family which means their children are now in the middle of this divorce, and they are the ones it can affect the most. Every child is unique in his or her own way, and every child will react differently to their parents’ divorce. It is our job as the parents to do everything within our power to ensure their futures. We need to be the best role models possible for our children. No
