The different forms of social media today include, the internet; which is quickly taking over other
forms of media, such as TV, magazines, and radio, by allowing users to browse for what they
want at the moment they want it, it has become media on demand; TV; allows users to watch,
record, and playback at a later time, coverage includes news, movies, daily sitcoms, and a variety

What are the greatest problems of social media for individuals and society?
I believe that the greatest problem for individuals and society caused by social media, is the lack of
patience. The internet has caused people to get used to having things right away, without
the wait, or
trip to a store or other business. Shopping, research, and entertainment can all be done from the
comfort of our homes, and is basically instantaneous. The up rise of video games in the past years
are bringing forth a generation of over weight and lazy children, who do not know what it means to go
out side to play, and lack the skills of socialization. For some people, social media has become so
advanced that operating a digital cable receiver has them baffled. Some people choose to only use
the forms of social media that they are familiar with such as, magazines, newspapers, rabbit ear TV
antennas, and radio and have chosen to not associate themselves with modern media for fear of
