How is information stored in our long term memory? Long term memory is broken down into two parts. Declarative memory allows us to remember factual information, with semanitc and episodic memory feeding off of it to allow us to remember general memories and personal knowledge about the initial memory. Procedural memory allows us to remember skills and habits of everyday things. We know that strawberry icecream is pink and cold~ declarative memory
